Smell like a teen spirit

Hello everyone!!!
I've been busy-lazy in these days, I've scheduled lots of posts, illustrations, photoshoots, but I just want to say that I'm fine to all my friends that didn't see me for a while.
Today is a special day because it's Kurt Cobain's birthday and who follow this blog, knows how much I love him and how much his music always inspired me.
So this post is just a way to remember how great he was and I really can't find the right words to express how I still relate to all his lyrics and how much I miss him.

I'm wearing
Fake Leopard Coat: Vintage
Shirt: borrowed from my friend and never gave back
Shirt : H&M
Hat: thrifted
Heart shaped Glasses: Hong Kong
Kurt Cobain pendant: DIY
Lace skirt : Vintage

This is the necklace from where the pendant is from, now it's broken and I need to fix it!

  1. It's a beautiful post!! I loved Nirvana as a teenager & my friends and I went to one of their concerts in our teens, so it was very sad that he took his life...shame there wasn't anyone to help him in some way...now just memories to keep him around. It's his daughter that I feel most for...shame she didn't have him as she needed. You look wonderful as always...I hope your having a great week doll <3 xxx

  5. I was in college when he died and I remember how some of the kids were so very upset. I was never a huge fan but I did think his death was tragic and it is one of many reasons why I can't stand Courtney Love, I feel like she killed him in more ways than one. There was so much music coming out of Seattle at that time!

  9. I still get so sad about Kurt even now if I think about the situation too much. Especially about how things worked out for Frances. Such a tragic tale with a tragic end. I often wonder what may have happened if things had been different. This is a fab tribute post and I love the way you can always find the right clothes and accessories to pay tribute to so many different people/characters. The fact that you don't post as often as I would like just means I look forward all the more to your posts when they do come xxxxx

  13. Great tribute, you look amazing as always. What a wonderful coat and your pendant is a beauty.
Poor Kurt. Poor Frances Bean. The photos of them together are unbearably poignant, even the thought of her wasn't enough to save him, and that is a tragedy. xxxx

  24. I remember listening to Nirvana for the very first time, it was like touching a high voltage electrical fence but in the best possible way. Grunge was so exciting, the music itself was like a well needed slap in the face after all that sugarcoated pop tripe I'd tortured my brain with in the 80s and Kurt was like the icing on the cake...beautiful, vulnerable and gifted with the voice of a true rock god. I was gutted when I found out that he was no longer with us but some souls can't bear being caged up.
I think he's jamming away with Jeff Buckley somewhere beyond the veil.
I love your fabulous teen spirit look, Kurt would have been flattered by this post I'm sure...xXx

  26. I loved Kurt too, I often end up looking like him by accident - check shirts, ripped jeans and chipped nail polish. But I like your more polished tribute to him. I was listening to 'Unplugged' just last night in the kitchen.

I really wish I could be ahead of myself enough to get round to having any scheduled posts saved up!
    xx
